Recently originated the role of ‘Kitty DeSouza’ as well as performed ‘Shanti’ and covered ‘Rani’ in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Broadway extravaganza production of Bombay Dreams at the Broadway Theatre, New York. 

Co-founder/CEO of KRISAR Pictures film production company.   

Ms. Ripard hails from a rich cultural heritage and comes from a four generation family tradition of performing artists, filmmakers, and musicians. Her grandmother, Mary Ripard, was the respected Maltese actress and opera singer.  And her grandmother, Jamilla Casmally, was the angelic voice of classical Indian music that soared across the Mauritian radio airwaves.  Her father, Francis Ripard is a respected television producer/documentarian involved in preserving the multi-faceted culture of the Maltese people.

With her chameleon abilities to transform into a variety of roles, Ms. Ripard has played parts ranging from; the great heroines of Shakespeare, a freedom fighter, The Buddha, to a broken-hearted streetwalker from the inner city. 

She has received favorable reviews from national and international newspapers and numerous acting awards including the prestigious Helen Hayes Award nomination for her unique portrayal as ‘Mme. DeTourvel’  in ‘Dangerous Liaisons’.   

She attended the distinguished Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England and spent precious time with worldwide renowned mime master Marcel Marceau.   

While working in Washington, DC, Ms. Ripard taught at Latin Dancer Inc. with Bolivian born dance artiste Humberto where they also performed together in the styles of the Rumba, Cha Cha, Argentinean Tango, Foxtrot, Salsa, Cumbia, and Waltz to name a few… 

Since her arrival in the United States, Ms. Ripard has worked in film, television and theatre with notable companies in Washington DC, Los Angeles and New York.  They include:  Tribeca Film Center, The Kennedy Center, The Folger Shakespeare Theatre, Arena Stage, The Wolf Trap, The Smithsonian Institute, John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, Los Angeles Classic Theatre Company, LifeTime Channel, Classic Media, NBC, Sixth Sense Prod., and many more…   

Ms. Ripard  recently produced and starred in the critically acclaimed West Coast World Premiere of Convergence a full length drama surrounding the tragic events of  the Palestinian/Israeli conflict which she is currently developing into a feature film.

Her directing credits include a full length musical at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.   

Never to shy away from challenging topics Ms. Ripard’s body of work, reflect her passion and motivation to continue collaborating with high caliber filmmakers and artists who examine and deepen an awareness of the human condition, the world and have the courage to bring the poetry of their dreams to life on the screen.
